These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of FinPro Directory. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.
FinPro Directory is an online marketplace that connects business owners seeking accounting, bookkeeping, tax, payroll, and related services with independent professionals who offer them.
We are a venue only. We do not provide accounting, bookkeeping, tax, payroll, legal, or financial advice, and we do not perform any professional services. Any engagement, contract, or work product is strictly between the customer and the professional. FinPro Directory is not a party to, and has no responsibility or liability for, any agreement or interaction between users.
Professionals on the platform are independent businesses, not employees or agents of FinPro Directory. While professionals may submit credentials and license information, we do not independently verify, endorse, warrant, or guarantee any professional's qualifications, licensing, work quality, timeliness, or conduct. Customers are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting professionals, and professionals are solely responsible for the services they provide.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the platform. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

Customers post requests free of charge. Professionals subscribe to a plan that grants contact credits, which are used to unlock customer requests. Subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and refunds are governed by our Subscription & Cancellation Policy, Contact/Credit Policy, and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these terms.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (requests, profiles, messages, proposals, reviews). You grant FinPro Directory a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the platform. You are solely responsible for your content and must have the right to share it.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY PROFESSIONAL OR CUSTOMER WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINPRO DIRECTORY AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY INTERACTION BETWEEN USERS. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY ERRORS, OMISSIONS, NEGLIGENCE, MISCONDUCT, OR DAMAGES CAUSED BY ANY PROFESSIONAL OR CUSTOMER. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FinPro Directory from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your content, your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your interactions with other users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the platform or its users. You may close your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) survive.
