• Profile information: for professionals, business name, credentials, license number and expiration, years of experience, and service categories.
• Request information: service needs, budget range, timeline, location, accounting software, and business type that customers submit.
• Communications: messages and proposals exchanged through the platform.
• Payment information: subscription payments are processed by Stripe; we receive confirmation and subscription status, but never see or store your full card details.
• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, and technical data such as browser type and IP address.

2. How we use your information

• To operate the marketplace: matching customer requests with professionals, processing unlocks, and delivering messages.
• To process subscriptions and credits through our payment provider.
• To send service-related notices, such as license-expiration reminders for professionals.
• To keep the platform safe: preventing fraud, enforcing our terms, and reviewing reported content.
• To improve the platform through aggregated, de-identified analytics.

3. What other users can see

Before a professional unlocks a request, only the customer's first name and request details are visible. Contact information stays hidden until the customer chooses to share it or an unlock occurs.

Professional profiles (business name, credentials, experience) are visible to customers whose requests they engage with.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that run the platform — our hosting and database provider, Stripe for payments, and our email delivery provider — and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data retention and security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and row-level access controls in our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices

• You can view and edit your profile information from your dashboard at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
• You can opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages.

7. Children

The platform is intended for adults conducting business. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
