This policy explains how professionals use contact credits to unlock customer requests on FinPro Directory.
A contact credit is the unit used to unlock a customer request. Unlocking a request reveals the customer's full details and opens a direct messaging channel with that customer. Each unlock costs exactly one credit, regardless of plan.
Before unlocking, professionals see the customer's first name, service category, description, budget range, timeline, location or remote preference, accounting software, and business type. Contact details remain hidden until the unlock.
A maximum of five professionals can unlock any single request. Once a request reaches five unlocks, it is closed to further unlocks. This limit keeps competition reasonable for professionals and prevents customers from being overwhelmed.
Unlocking a request purchases access to the customer's contact channel — nothing more. FinPro Directory does not guarantee that a customer will respond, engage you, or pay you, and is not responsible for the outcome of any conversation or engagement that follows an unlock.
Attempting to circumvent the credit system — for example by creating multiple accounts, harvesting customer details without unlocking, or sharing unlocked contact information with third parties — is a violation of the Terms of Service and may result in immediate account termination without refund.
In rare cases (for example, a verified technical error during an unlock), our team may adjust credits manually at its sole discretion. All adjustments are recorded in your account's credit ledger.
