Community & Marketplace Guidelines

1. Be honest

• Customers: post genuine requests with accurate budgets, timelines, and business details.
• Professionals: keep your credentials, license number, and expiration date accurate and current. Never claim qualifications you do not hold.
• Everyone: no fake accounts, fake requests, fake proposals, or fake reviews.

2. Be professional

• Communicate respectfully. No harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive language.
• Respond in good faith — professionals to requests they unlock, customers to proposals they receive.
• Honor the commitments you make in proposals and messages.

3. Protect each other's information

• Never share, sell, or publish another user's contact details or business information.
• Never request sensitive data (Social Security numbers, bank credentials, passwords) through platform messages.
• Handle any customer financial data you receive in the course of work according to applicable law and professional standards.

4. Keep it on the platform

Unlocked conversations should happen in platform messaging until both parties agree to move forward. Attempting to harvest customer details without unlocking, or directing users off-platform to avoid the credit system, is prohibited.

5. Reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand experience. Do not post reviews for yourself, pay for reviews, or use reviews to extort or retaliate. We may remove reviews that violate these rules.

6. Reporting

If you see fraud, harassment, fake credentials, or any other violation, use the report feature or email billing@finprodirectory.com. Our team reviews reports and may pause, close, or remove content and accounts.

7. Our role

FinPro Directory operates the marketplace and enforces these guidelines, but we are not a party to any engagement between users and are not responsible for the services, advice, conduct, or outcomes of any professional or customer. Disputes about work quality, payment, or deliverables must be resolved directly between the parties.
