1. Posting requests is free

Customers post requests at no charge. Describe your needs accurately — service type, budget range, timeline, software, and business type — so professionals can respond with relevant proposals.

2. You choose — and you are responsible for your choice

FinPro Directory introduces you to independent professionals; it does not recommend, vet, verify, or endorse any of them. License numbers and credentials shown on profiles are supplied by the professionals themselves and are not independently verified by us. You are solely responsible for evaluating, selecting, hiring, and supervising any professional, and for checking their licensing, references, and insurance before engaging them.

3. Your agreement is with the professional

Any quote, proposal, engagement letter, or contract is strictly between you and the professional. FinPro Directory is not a party to it and has no responsibility or liability for the professional's work, advice, timeliness, errors, omissions, or conduct — including any tax, financial, or legal consequences of relying on their services.

4. Payments to professionals

You pay professionals directly under the terms you agree with them. FinPro Directory does not process, hold, or guarantee those payments and cannot assist with recovering money paid to a professional.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information in your requests and communications.
• Do not post requests you do not intend to fulfill.
• Treat professionals respectfully and respond to proposals in good faith.
• Protect the confidentiality of any professional information shared with you.
• Leave honest, factual reviews based on your genuine experience.

6. Privacy of your request

Before a professional unlocks your request, only your first name and request details are visible. Once unlocked (by up to five professionals), the professional can contact you through the platform's messaging. Do not include sensitive data such as Social Security numbers, bank details, or passwords in your request description.

7. No professional advice from us

Nothing on the platform — including articles, category descriptions, or messages from FinPro Directory — constitutes accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional about your specific situation.

8. Limitation of liability

FinPro Directory is not liable for any loss arising from services performed (or not performed) by a professional, or from your reliance on their advice. The liability limits in the Terms of Service apply in full to customers.
